Job summary

State of Mississippi - MS - MDHS is seeking a Lead IT Procurement Officer to be onsite in Jackson, MS, with relocation required from day one. The role oversees contract management activities for IT procurements, ensuring timely delivery and coordination with internal and external teams to meet agency needs.

Responsibilities include providing oversight and project management, drafting and issuing RFPs and other solicitations, evaluating proposals, and communicating with vendors and user

Qualifications

• Experience gathering, documenting and communicating business requirements and user stories.
• Defining and documenting business requirements, user stories, processes and workflows.
• Experience with organizing project teams and work plans for multiple projects.
• Experience as a business analyst and/or project manager.
• Experience working in State Government.
• Experience creating solicitations to acquire IT software and services.

Work Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM (40 hours / week)

Required Skills:

Position Description:

Ensure contract management activities for all IT procurement are undertaken

timely with internal/external teams.
