Job summary

NuvemRx seeks a Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer to own cloud and on-prem platforms, focusing on Azure, M365, EntraID, and related environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure and drive automation to reduce manual toil.

The role emphasizes leadership of the infrastructure team, security governance, and partnerships with Cloud Infra, Engineering, Architecture, and Security to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience administering enterprise infrastructure environments including virtualization, cloud platforms, and identity systems.
• Experience administering Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and EntraID with measurable outcomes in stability, security, and efficiency.
• Strong Active Directory administration knowledge (Users/Groups, DNS, RBAC) and best practices.
• PowerShell automation expertise to reduce operational toil.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and detail.

About the Role

The Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer is a senior technical role responsible for implementing and maintaining NuvemRx’s cloud and on-premises platforms. In this role you will be a primary contact for our Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, EntraID, Pharmacy Management and call centre technology environments. You will work cross‑functionally with Cloud Infrastructure, Engineering, and business teams to translate business needs into reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions. Success in this role means measurably improved infrastructure stability, problem resolution, reduced manual toil through automation, and a high‑performing support team you help to develop.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the ongoing administration of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and EntraID, ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards and identity architecture.
• Partner with Cloud Infrastructure, Engineering, Architecture & Security to design and enforce cloud security controls, identity governance policies, and access management frameworks.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain Azure solutions across compute, storage, networking, and security, driving reliability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Application Development to ensure cloud infrastructure meets application performance and availability requirements.
• Support Pharmacy Management Implementations and Migrations
• Manage the Call Center Technology Solution(s).
• Configure, deploy, support PC/Mac/IOT devices, network printers, mobile phones, camera's, DVR and related end‑user equipment.
• Provide support for computer hardware/software, network infrastructure accurately and quickly.
• Liaise with third‑party software support vendors and equipment vendors.

Support Infrastructure Team Leadership

• Provide technical leadership for Active Directory, Intune, RMM and Security Vulnerability software and platforms, driving stability, optimisation, and modernisation initiatives.
• Assist current Infrastructure leadership in assigning, prioritising, and tracking work items across the infrastructure team; conduct daily stand‑ups to review status and address emerging issues.
• Lead and mentor infrastructure team members, providing day‑to‑day technical direction and professional development guidance.
• Manage KPI’s and support tool platform consistency.
• Support provisioning and deprovisioning activities of users and endpoints, and maintain accurate documentation of team tasks and progress.
• Follow up on remediation of audit and penetration testing findings; provide after‑hours support for infrastructure emergencies and occasional weekend maintenance.

• Demonstrated ability to implement and manage Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and EntraID with measurable outcomes in stability, security, and efficiency.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory administration—Users & Groups, Group Policy, DNS, and RBAC—and proven application of best practices.
• PowerShell automation expertise: design, develop, govern, and maintain scalable scripts and automation frameworks that reduce operational toil.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Critical Thinking and Problem‑Solving Skills Proactive identification of items and remediation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience designing and implementing process improvements and automation to streamline operational tasks and improve consistency.

Compensation

The expected base salary for this role is $80,000–$85,000. This range may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location, and internal equity. NuvemRx complies with applicable pay transparency laws. The compensation range listed reflects the expected base salary at the time of posting, and actual compensation may vary.
