Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking a Lead IT Auditor to supervise IT audit programs and test complex IT processes within budgeted hours. The role requires commuting to our Newark, NJ office twice weekly (Tue & Wed) in a hybrid setup.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in IT, 4+ years in IT Audit, and knowledge of SOX 404; CISA is preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are essential.

This position is a lead IT auditor. Responsible for the supervision and execution of IT audit work programs. Plans and executes audits on complex IT processes and systems within established time frames and budgeted hours. This is a hybrid role, requiring commute to our Newark, NJ office twice weekly (Tuesday & Wednesday).
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, Information Technology major preferred 4+ years prior IT Audit experience
CISA preferred
Extensive knowledge of audit and control concepts, including application and general computer controls
Requires strong ability to think analytically Requires strong verbal and written communication skills Requires the ability to prioritize work and multitask Requires strong organizational and project management skills

$97,800 - $133,455 This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
