Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced IT Audit lead to drive complex audits across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You will evaluate IT controls, risk, and analytics, including AI/ML systems, and prepare executive reports for leadership.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with global frameworks while working onsite at a FedEx Freight location several times per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field and five years IT audit or related IT experience.
• Demonstrated supervisory or project leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of technology risk management and cybersecurity frameworks (COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience assessing AI/ML systems, data pipelines, and analytics platforms.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as ACL/Arbutus, SQL, Python, and Power BI.
• Excellent written and spoken communication for executive-level audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple IT audits, advisory projects, and technology initiatives.
• Evaluate IT general and application controls across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Assess AI/ML controls, data governance, model risk, and automated decisioning.
• Utilize data analytics to perform risk assessments and automate testing.
• Prepare clear executive-level reports for senior leadership and the Audit Committee.
• Mentor staff and represent IT Audit in meetings and presentations.
