You will guide cloud-native solution design in a regulated environment, mentor engineers, and define architecture standards while partnering with stakeholders to prioritize investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 12+ years in architecture, software engineering, or senior technical leadership roles.
• 8+ years in software development organizations and modern delivery environments.
• 3+ years defining architecture strategy across multiple products or value streams.
• Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures.

For our client, we are seeking a Lead IT Architect to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will shape the enterprise architecture vision across multiple products and value streams, ensuring technology decisions support business priorities and long‑term scalability. The position will partner closely with product, engineering, and business leaders to drive alignment on shared services, reusable patterns, and modern delivery practices. You will also provide architectural guidance for strategic planning, cross‑functional initiatives, and cloud‑native solution design in a complex regulated environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,800 - $251,300 annually
