Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Lead to serve as a functional and solution expert for Production Planning and Quality Management. You will lead end-to-end design, configuration, testing, and deployment for global ISC S/4HANA programs.

You will partner with ISC business stakeholders, govern integration touchpoints, and ensure template integrity while driving standardization and continuous improvement across enterprise landscapes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP experience with ISC Manufacturing/Supply Chain delivery responsibilities.
• Extensive hands-on SAP S/4HANA deployment experience including global implementations.
• 7+ years in Production Planning, Manufacturing Execution, and Quality Management.
• Ability to analyze, design, and deliver complex SAP PP solutions.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end ISC process flows and cross-functional integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Production Planning problems end-to-end, including solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment for global ISC S/4HANA programs.
• Partner with ISC business stakeholders to analyze requirements, assess options, and recommend scalable solutions.
• Define and govern production-related integration touchpoints across Manufacturing, Order Management, Finance, and Logistics.
• Configure and enhance SAP S/4HANA PP solutions while protecting global template integrity.
• Contribute to testing strategy and execution (Unit, SIT, UAT) and resolve defects.

Job description

• Serve as a Lead functional and solution expert for SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and Quality Management solutions, including MRP Live and ePPDS
• Lead complex Production Planning problems end-to-end, including solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment for global ISC S/4HANA programs
• Provide subject matter expertise to support standard ISC Production Planning capabilities aligned to DSC global design principles and architecture standards
• Partner independently with ISC business stakeholders to analyze requirements, assess options, and recommend scalable, enterprise-standard solutions
• Define and govern production-related integration touchpoints across Manufacturing, Order Management, Finance, Trade Compliance, Logistics, and external partners
• Configure and enhance SAP S/4HANA PP solutions while protecting global template integrity and reusability
• Contribute to testing strategy and execution, including Unit, SIT, and UAT, and resolve complex defects and design gaps
• Provide hands-on support during cutover, go-live, and hypercare, addressing high-severity and cross-domain logistics issues
• Influence adoption of standardized ISC Production processes through governance forums, solution reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor analysts and project team members through guidance, reviews, and knowledge sharing, without direct people management
• Report to the Director, IT

Requirements

• 10+ years of SAP experience, with substantial delivery responsibility in ISC Manufacturing and Supply Chain environments
• Extensive, hands-on SAP S/4HANA deployment experience, including multiple full life cycle global implementations with S4 MRP Live and ePPDS
• 7+ years of deep functional experience in Production Planning, Manufacturing Execution, and Quality Management
• Proven ability to independently analyze, design, and deliver complex SAP PP solutions across enterprise landscapes
• Strong understanding of end-to-end ISC process flows and cross-functional integration dependencies
• Demonstrated success operating in a global, matrixed organization and influencing outcomes without formal authority
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Track record of successfully delivering global ISC SAP Production Planning solutions
• SAP S4 PP Certification
• Experience working within template-driven, standardized enterprise environments
• Exposure to security, authorization, and compliance considerations for SAP PP and QM processes
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business impact
• Strong analytical thinking, documentation discipline, and presentation skills
• Mindset oriented toward quality, standardization, and continuous improvement
