JPS Tech Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning Lead to design, implement, and optimize SAP PP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA. The role emphasizes end-to-end P2P processes, master data governance, and strong integration with MM, SD, QM, PM, CO and MES systems.

The candidate will architect scalable SAP PP solutions, lead blueprinting and fit-gap analyses, and drive advanced manufacturing capabilities like PP/DS and Kanban while mentoring teams and ensuring governance.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of hands-on SAP Production Planning experience across ECC and S/4HANA.
• Proven delivery of multiple full lifecycle SAP PP implementations.
• Strong integration experience with MM, SD, QM, PM, CO, MES and external systems.
• Expertise in PP/DS, Kanban, repetitive manufacturing and batch management.

Responsibilities

• Lead blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, and solution design for SAP PP.
• Own end-to-end Plan-to-Produce processes including demand, MRP, capacity and production orders.
• Architect scalable SAP PP solutions aligned with business strategy and SAP best practices.
• Define and govern master data (BOMs, routings, work centers, production variants).
• Architect and manage SAP PP integrations with MES and enterprise middleware.
• Drive enhancements using ABAP, BADIs, BAPIs, User Exits, and CDS Views.
• Ensure performance, compliance, and governance with Solution Manager and Cloud ALM.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor teams; escalate complex issues.

Job Description Job Description: The SAP Production Planning (PP) Lead will be responsible for leading, designing, and optimizing SAP PP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes. This role requires deep hands‑on expertise in discrete and process manufacturing, strong integration knowledge, and the ability to provide architectural direction while supporting enterprise‑wide digital transformation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PP blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, and solution design across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes
• Own end‑to‑end Plan-to-Produce (P2P) processes including demand planning, MRP, capacity planning, and production order execution
• Design and deliver scalable, enterprise‑grade SAP PP solutions aligned with business strategy and SAP best practices
• Define and govern manufacturing master data including BOMs, routings, work centers, and production versions
• Architect and manage SAP PP integrations with MM, SD, QM, PM, CO, MES, and external manufacturing systems
• Configure and optimize core PP and advanced manufacturing capabilities such as PP/DS, Kanban, repetitive manufacturing, and batch management
• Drive custom enhancements and extensions using ABAP, BADIs, BAPIs, User Exits, and CDS Views
• Ensure system performance, compliance, and governance through Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, audit controls, and SoD
• Provide technical leadership and stakeholder management, mentoring teams and acting as the escalation point for complex issues

Required Qualifications

• Over 10 years of hands‑on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP)
• Proven delivery of at least 3 full lifecycle SAP PP implementations
• Strong working experience across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments
• In‑depth understanding of end‑to‑end Plan‑to‑Produce (P2P) processes
• Solid functional knowledge of discrete manufacturing operations
• Strong exposure to process manufacturing environments
• Experience working in cloud‑based SAP landscapes
• Familiarity with multi‑vendor and integrated enterprise environments

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) across manufacturing environments
• Hands‑on experience with PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) for advanced planning and scheduling
• Proficient in SAP process modeling and documentation, using tools such as Signavio, ARIS, and Visio
• Experience integrating SAP PP with MES systems and enterprise middleware platforms
• Solid understanding of SAP extensibility concepts within SAP PP
• Hands‑on exposure to ABAP‑based enhancements, including BADIs, BAPIs, and User Exits

Certifications (Preferred)

• SAP Certified Application Associate – Production Planning (PP)
• SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing Certification
• ITIL Foundation or AMS Governance Training
