Job summary

Collins Aerospace Global Security Services (GSS) seeks an Information Systems Security Officer to lead cybersecurity for SIPRNet systems onsite in Largo, FL. The role emphasizes audits, CORA readiness, and documentation to ensure continuous inspection readiness.

Required DoD security clearance and 5+ years of DoD/enterprise security monitoring experience, with RMF/NIST guidance familiarity and SIEM expertise (Splunk).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, or related field.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required on day one.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity monitoring, auditing, and continuous monitoring experience in an enterprise/DoD environment.
• Experience with RMF, JSIG, NIST, NISPOM guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISSO for SIPRNet information systems and coordinate cybersecurity activities.
• Prepare systems for inspections and CORA readiness with compliant documentation and controls.
• Review data transfers and user access per policies and contracts.
• Conduct advanced auditing and log analysis to identify risks and mitigations.
• Develop and maintain authorization artifacts and compliance reports.
