Qualifications

• Ten years of ISSO experience on contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Experience in at least two areas: security tools and hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, encryption techniques/tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher.
• Four additional years of ISSO experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate IT security programs and policies.
• Manage and control changes to the system and assess security impact of changes; obtain C&A for ISs under their purview.
• Provide support for an information assurance program within a program, organization, system, or enclave.
• Serve as the Approval Authority for ISs under their control.
