Job summary

Gladiatoremergence information systems security officer (ISSO), Level 0, is based at Fort Meade, MD with on-site duties. The role requires TS/SCI + Full Scope Poly and offers a salary range of $39,525 – $79,525.

The ISSO will assist senior ISSOs in implementing security policies, evaluating solutions for classified processing, and supporting documentation and configuration management tasks. Clearance is required at start of employment.

Qualifications

• Two years of ISSO experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level I or higher required.
• Two additional years of ISSO experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

The Level 0 Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) shall possess the following capabilities:

• Provide support to senior ISSOs for implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
• Assist in the evaluation of security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information
• Assist with the configuration management of information system security software, hardware, and firmware
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation

Qualifications

Two (2) years of experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level I or higher is required Two (2) additional years of experience as an ISSO may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
