Job summary

Stratolaunch in Mojave, CA seeks a Lead Security Engineer - ISSM to own the lifecycle of classified information systems, from architecture to decommissioning.

This senior hands-on role requires RMF mastery, the ability to produce SSPs/POA&Ms, and collaboration with IT, engineering, and government partners to sustain secure operations. Onsite work is required due to classified environments; competitive base salary and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years cybersecurity in aerospace/defense or regulated environments.
• Former ISSM or senior ISSO for classified systems.
• Experience with RMF artifacts: SSPs, POA&Ms, controls.
• Strong communication with engineers, IT, and govt stakeholders.
• Active U.S. Secret clearance or higher; Top Secret capability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ISSM for classified information systems.
• Lead RMF implementation for classified systems.
• Develop SSPs, POA&Ms, security controls, and diagrams.
• Collaborate with IT and Engineering to secure environments.
• Support SIPRNet connectivity and accreditation.
