Job summary

Stratolaunch is seeking a Lead Security Engineer - ISSM to oversee cybersecurity for classified information systems supporting hypersonic programs. The role involves hands-on technical leadership, RMF authority, and collaboration with IT, engineering, and government stakeholders to build secure computing environments from architecture to decommissioning.

The ideal candidate has strong RMF expertise, prior ISSM/ISSO experience, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity in aerospace/defense or regulated environments.
• Formal ISSM or senior ISSO for classified information systems.
• Experience developing RMF documentation including SSPs and POA&Ms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ISSM for classified systems.
• Lead RMF implementation for classified systems.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, and security artifacts.
• Collaborate with IT and Engineering to secure environments.
• Support SIPRNet connectivity and accreditation requirements.
• Establish secure baselines based on DISA STIGs.
