- Review and maintain Caesars’ Cybersecurity program and strategy at a tactical and operational level for the iSeries platform
- Ensure security controls function efficiently and effectively across security logging, monitoring, alert management, incident handling, vulnerability management, and configuration management
- Support the Cybersecurity iSeries Team with security research and development and other security-related tasks
- Establish and implement security-related standards, procedures, and guidelines for the iSeries environment in partnership with properties and Information Technology
- Serve as Lead Security Matter Expert for Gaming Control Board representatives, external auditors, internal auditors, Internal Controls and Compliance, and property internal auditors
- Minimize user productivity loss caused by security changes and support clients’ security business needs
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and leadership
- Install, upgrade, configure, deploy, and administer iSeries security applications
- Monitor high-level users and investigate discrepancies
- Manage iSeries aspects of SOX, PCI, Gaming Regulatory, and other audits and resolve findings and gaps
- Develop, implement, and manage iSeries security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
- Ensure penetration testing, vulnerability threat assessments, threat modeling, security reviews, assessments, and code reviews are conducted with high quality
- Act as iSeries security subject matter expert for the Incident Response team and investigate possible company-impacting incidents
- Provide R&D and consulting support to Cybersecurity, Engineering, IT, and business projects
- Design and implement operational iSeries security reporting; analyze security-event trends and report metrics to the Sr Architect, Director of Engineering, CISO, and stakeholders
- Document and follow up on security exceptions and maintain process-flow and work-instruction documentation
- Manage SOC requirements and ensure iSeries security metrics are gathered daily
- Challenge business processes and assumptions to define appropriate solutions
- Train and advise less experienced security staff and non-security professionals
- Contribute to Cybersecurity, IT, and property projects; interact with business partners; assist with project plans and documentation
- Maintain enterprise-grade iSeries infrastructure and participate in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older (required for regulated gaming environments)
- Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience in IT Security or Database Administration
- Ability to pass background checks and obtain and maintain gaming licenses in required jurisdictions
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Hands-on experience with IBM i (OS 7.3 and higher) in 24x7 production environments
- 10+ years of experience administering IBM i platforms
- 5+ years of experience installing, maintaining, and supporting IBM i security applications
- Proven experience identifying and remediating IBM i security vulnerabilities in a regulated environment
- Working knowledge of PCI, SOX, HIPAA, MICS, and/or Gaming Regulatory requirements
- General understanding of the Integrated File System (IFS) and its security implications
- Working knowledge of IBM Access Client Solutions (ACS) and IBM Client Access
- Experience supporting a multi-LPAR large-scale production environment
- Fortra PowerTech security suite experience
- Trinity Guard TGSecure security tool experience
- CrowdStrike or similar SIEM service experience
