Job summary

Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, part of Scripps Health, seeks a Lead Interventional Radiology Technologist to lead imaging procedures and patient care within a dynamic IR team.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: CRT
• Required Qualifications: Fluoro
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Completion of a formal training/educational program in Radiology
• Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific care, education and imaging procedures with the health care team
• Monitor equipment availability for procedures
• Train staff and maintain competency of 2-3 techs
• Adhere to safety standards; participate in QC and PL activities; maintain competencies
• Liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA for Interventional Radiology
• Maintain records to verify regulatory compliance
• Responsible for charge reconciliation audits for IR procedures
