Job summary

CHEP, a Brambles / BXB Digital company, seeks a Senior Hardware Engineer in Santa Clara, CA to lead hardware design from concept to production. You will own RF and low-power hardware for IoT devices, coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners, and drive verification, validation, and production readiness.

The role requires hands-on design, debugging with lab equipment, and strong collaboration across global teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8+ years of experience.
Strong knowledge of hardware system architecture, board-level design, and component selection.
Experience with OrCAD Capture and RF/wireless technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and validation of hardware systems, including schematic capture, PCB design, hardware bring-up, and production support.
Own low-power and RF hardware design for IoT products, driving architecture, component selection, power optimization, wireless integration, and tradeoffs.
Collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to deliver products from concept through production.
Manage external design partners and subcontractors across Asia (India and China), ensuring quality, schedule, and deliverables.
