Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Lead Software Engineer, iOS to shape and deliver mobile experiences on the iOS platform. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with Apple platform tooling on MacBooks, driving best practices and delivering high-quality customer experiences.

You will mentor junior engineers, participate in agile ceremonies, and stay current with Swift and related libraries while partnering across teams to deliver complex features end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
• At least 3 years of experience building iOS applications
• At least 3 years of experience with Swift

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adhere to engineering best practices
• Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, QA, and Product Owners to deliver high quality customer experiences
• Participate in all agile ceremonies to ensure team commitments are delivered on time and with high quality
• Mentor junior to mid-level team members
• Review pull requests and ensure adherence to Swift idioms
