ADP is Hiring a Lead Investigative Security Agent-

The Global Security Organization (GSO) within ADP is hiring Lead Investigative / Executive Protection Agents to join its Corporate Investigations Department. These opportunities will be located in Roseland, New Jersey.

The incumbents will join an experienced team who provide investigative and protective services globally to safeguard our executives, ADP’s associates, data, assets, and ensure integrity across all business operations.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Plan, conduct, and document all aspects of physical protection.
  • Assess threats and acts of violence against ADP Executives and associates and develop safety plans to address.
  • Interview persons of interest and witnesses.
  • Utilize various investigative techniques.
  • Liaise with Local, State, and Federal law enforcement
  • Work as part of a matrixed team of security providers mitigating threats to associates, clients, and visitors. These threats include both natural and human caused.
  • Identify, preserve, collect, and analyze testimonial, physical, and digital evidence.
  • Obtain, discretely handle, and work with fragmentary evidence to initiate investigations.
  • Prepare detailed reports of complex investigations.
  • Interface directly with management and representatives from corporate counsel and HR.
  • Provide fact witness testimony in legal matters.
  • Work with the management, corporate security, and/or corporate counsel on confidential matters.
  • Contribute to the development of new processes and technologies improving the investigative process.
  • Collect testimonial, digital, and physical evidence
  • Make recommendations to the Sr. Director of Investigative Ops and Vice President of Converged Security Services to improve processes.
  • Operate independently and within a team while exercising superb judgment and discretion.
  • Contribute as a subject matter expert.
To Succeed In This Role

You'll have a bachelor's degree OR equivalent.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of law enforcement, military, or industry security experience.

Required Skills
  • Interpersonal / Communication: Ability to interact effectively with senior level management, strong interviewing skills, discrete and professional, ability to influence others to achieve results, effective business writing skills, knowledge of and sensitivity to country norms and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing investigations acquired through practical experience in the public, government, or private sectors.
  • Prior Executive Protection experience
  • Willing to work long hours, weekend, and holidays.
  • Accompany executives during travel (both domestic and international)
  • Regularly assess risks, vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Must be adaptable, resourceful, flexible, self-motivated and discreet.
  • Worthy of trust, integrity and confidence
  • Respond to emergencies and medical aid
  • Excellent driving record with professional training
  • Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Strong attention to details
  • Must use good judgement.
  • Professional appearance and physically fit
  • Excellent analytic skills
  • Experience with conducting site, motorcade, protective intelligence advances domestically and abroad.
  • Capable of operating solo or part of team.
  • Law enforcement or industry-specific knowledge regarding common tools and techniques utilized in investigations of misconduct and fraudulent activities.
  • A strong sense of accountability, integrity, and mission.
  • Ability to creatively problem solve and respond in a confident manner during a crisis.
  • HR218 certification or the ability to obtain and maintain a concealed firearm permit.
  • Requires valid Passport and ability to Travel on short notice.
  • Ability to obtain Federal Air Marshal Certification and credentials
Preferred Skills

Candidates with some or all the following skills and experience are preferred.

  • Executive Protection and Event Security (domestic and international)
  • Completed advance Executive Protection Training (U.S. Secret Service)
  • Completion of the Reid Technique training, FBI Interview and Interrogation Course, or other national or state accredited law enforcement interview and interrogation school
  • Ability and trained in Performing Threat Assessments which involve acts of violence
  • Experience with conducting physical site security surveys for large scale events
  • Identification, preservation, and analysis of digital forensic evidence
  • Conducting investigations in a technical, digital environment requiring the identification of relevant digital evidence.
  • Preferred Certifications:
  • (Medical) CPR, First Aid, Bleeding Control, Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic
  • Certified Threat Manager (ATAP)
  • First responder experience responding to criminal acts or medical emergencies
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $86,600.00 - USD $161,600.00 / Year*

  • Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
