Job summary

RealCold is seeking an Inventory Control & Office Team Lead for our New Jersey cold storage facility. You will partner with the Operations Manager and General Manager to plan daily floor operations while leading inventory accuracy initiatives and handling administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include hiring and training Inventory Control staff, supervising assignments, coordinating with warehouse managers, performing daily inventory analysis, maintaining item master data, and processing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of related experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of operations and production management in a warehouse setting.
• Proficient in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, high reach, and cherry pickers.
• WMS experience preferred; forklift certification preferred or able to attain on hire.
• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assists with hiring and training Inventory Control staff/Clerical office personnel.
• Oversee the job assignments and activities of Inventory Control staff.
• Collaborates with warehouse managers/supervisors to provide performance evaluations.
• Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies discrepancies and resolves issues.
• Oversee the stock item master; identify incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.
• Communicate with warehouse and customers regarding items, locations, and counts.
• Lead the administrative warehouse office; staffing, training and performance management.
• Process Customer Order Processing & Billing with RealCold billing team.
• Operate warehouse equipment to count inventory and follow safety standards.
• Assist the General Manager & Warehouse Supervisor when needed.
