Job summary

RealCold in Newark, NJ is hiring an Inventory Control & Office Team Lead to support a cold storage facility. You will interface with customers via operations email, enter receivers into the WMS, and coordinate inventory accuracy and orders.

This hourly, non-exempt role collaborates with Operations and General Managers to meet daily goals. The job requires at least two years in a warehouse setting, forklift familiarity, and solid communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of related warehouse experience.
• Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations and production management.
• Forklift certification preferred (ability to obtain on hire).
• Must read, write, and understand English.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring and training Inventory Control staff and clerical personnel.
• Oversee assignments and activities of Inventory Control staff.
• Provide performance feedback with warehouse managers/supervisors.
• Perform daily inventory analysis and resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee the item master and correct descriptions and stock numbers.
• Locate items with incorrect locations or stock numbers to aid orders.
• Communicate with warehouse and customers about items, locations, counts.
• Supervise the warehouse office administrative team and support inbound/outbound office.
• Process customer orders and billing with RealCold billing team.
• Operate warehouse equipment to count inventory per safety rules.
• Assist the General Manager and Warehouse Supervisor as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
