Job summary

GSK is seeking a senior leader to design and execute interventional clinical studies within Medical Affairs. You will shape data generation strategies, ensure ethical conduct, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results across oncology/haematology/immunology areas.

You will oversee study governance, safety data review, and regulatory submissions, while mentoring colleagues and advancing scientific integrity. This hybrid role supports in-office work in the US or UK.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent).
• Substantial experience leading interventional clinical studies in a therapeutic area such as oncology/haematology/immunology or related areas.
• Experience designing and executing clinical trials with demonstrated impact.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices for clinical research.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee interventional clinical studies, ensuring alignment with objectives and evidence plans.
• Facilitate medical governance, review safety data and guide risk mitigation actions.
• Provide scientific oversight for study protocols, analysis plans, and interpretation of study data.
• Ensure patient safety and scientific integrity throughout study conduct.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of clinical programs.
• Prepare and present study results for scientific meetings, publications, and regulatory submissions.
• Engage with investigators and thought leaders to enhance study design and execution.
