Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ seeks an experienced Radiology Technologist specializing in Interventional procedures. The role provides direct assistance to physicians during diagnostic and interventional imaging, ensuring patient prep, sterile technique, and optimal image quality while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include guiding the imaging workflow, supervising staff, managing inventory, and mentoring new team members.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiography Program.
• RT & ARRT Licensure.
• CPR Certification.
• 3+ years of experience in IR and scrubbing procedures or in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized interventional and diagnostic radiology exams and assists with patient preparation and sterile technique.
• Supports imaging procedural flow with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely care.
• Supervises technologists, ensuring quality patient interactions throughout care.
• Manages inventory and par level communications for the designee.
• Maintains equipment maintenance records and quality measures.
• Mentors and precepts new staff per AHS standards.
• Documents electronic health records.
• Maintains infection control standards and radiation safety practices.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
