Job summary

Montefiore Hudson Valley Collaborative seeks a Special Procedural Technologist, Lead, Cardiovascular to join the invasive cardiology lab team. The role requires scrub experience in invasive CV procedures and RCIS/RCES certification, with BLS/ACLS, and readiness to mentor staff.

The position may be based at the Einstein or Moses campus to meet patient care needs. Responsibilities include assisting in complex procedures (angioplasty, TAVR, ablations, device implants), maintaining sterile

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in science/math/technology is required.
2 years of experience scrubbing for invasive cardiac/vascular procedures, or 1 year with RCIS/RCES certification.
BLS and ACLS required.
Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS/RCES) or RT (R, CI) or equivalent.
Knowledge of Cardiac Catheterization and Peripheral Vascular tools and devices.
Knowledge of Arrhythmias and mapping/monitoring systems.
OHS Fit Test.
OHS Annual Assessment.

Responsibilities

Assists with diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic procedures in invasive cardiology labs.
Mentors, trains and guides technical staff.
Assists in scheduling and coverage issues.
Acts as a resource for sterile technique and equipment use/maintenance.
Assignment location may be Einstein or Moses campus.
