Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Special Procedural Technologist, Lead in Cardiovascular to support the invasive lab team. The role emphasizes mentoring staff, leading high‑risk procedures, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Based at the Einstein or Moses campus, you will scrub for diagnostics, interventions and therapies, maintain sterile technique, and assist in scheduling and staffing to ensure continuous coverage and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in science/math/technology is required; CV tech is preferred.
• RCIS/RCES or equivalent certification is required or considered.
• Requisite BLS and ACLS certifications must be current.

Responsibilities

• Assists with diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic CV procedures.
• Mentors and trains technical staff; coordinates coverage and scheduling.
• Maintains sterile technique and proper use of supplies/equipment.
