Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience as an international scholar immigration advisor at a college or university.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with students at the secondary/college/university level required.
• Experience with cross-cultural exchange and/or studying or working overseas required.

Responsibilities

• Guide student advisers on non-immigrant F and J regulations and manage cases.
• Lead ISO advising team’s technology solutions and process optimization.
• Develop, implement, maintain SUNAPSIS/URcompass functionality.
• Collaborate with Advising Team, Systems Team, and IT to design automated processes.
• Maintain advising caseload and provide immigration advising to F-1 and J-1 students and scholars.
• Research changes in immigration regulations and assist with policy development.
• Represent the office on committees and liaise with government agencies.
