Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial seeks a dynamic leader to serve as Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency. You will shape the curriculum, mentor faculty, and ensure accreditation compliance while advancing residency education in a community-based setting.

You will recruit diverse residents, monitor milestones, and build a safe, scholarly environment. A competitive compensation package and relocation support are offered in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be able to obtain a valid and unrestricted medical license from California.
• Completed an accredited Internal Medicine residency.
• Certified or maintain certification with ABIM or ABOM Internal Medicine boards.
• 3–5 years of Internal Medicine education/administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead program accreditation efforts per ACGME and institutional policies.
• Develop and continually improve a high-quality Internal Medicine curriculum.
• Mentor faculty; conduct annual performance reviews and faculty development.
• Recruit, retain, and promote a diverse, high-caliber resident body.
• Foster a psychologically safe learning environment for residents.
• Oversee residency budget and financial stewardship for education.
• Coordinate education liaisons with partner institutions and faculty development.
• Perform duties necessary to operate the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
