Job summary

The New Mexico Army National Guard is seeking an Auditor (Position Description T5145P01) to perform audits across programs and assess efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with laws and regulations.

As auditor-in-charge in a state with multiple auditors, you will synthesize team work to produce a complete audit product, monitor progress, and provide performance feedback to team members.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for Federal employment.
• May be required to successfully complete a trial period.
• Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
• Must comply with Financial Management Level 2 Certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits on a variety of programs and assess efficiency, effectiveness and compliance with laws and regulations.
• In states with 4+ auditors, serve as auditor-in-charge of audit programs or difficult projects.
• Synthesize the work of team members to develop a complete audit product; assess progress and provide performance feedback.
