Minimum Requirements And Qualifications
- Two (2) years' experience in heavy aircraft maintenance, preferably with an airline and/or MRO company.
- Valid Airframe License required (Valid Airframe & Powerplant preferred) (License can be substituted for a Repairman's Certificate through AIRBORNE Tampa)
- Thorough working knowledge of all forms and documents supporting heavy maintenance, including company policies, FARs, ADs, Service Bulletins, and Maintenance Manuals.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings.
- Proficiency in using tools, gauges, instruments, etc.
- Understanding of hazardous material handling and disposal.
- Qualification to obtain a SIDA badge.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Thorough knowledge of work within a specific classification or specialized operation.
- Ability to use good judgment and make sound decisions.
- Leadership qualities, including cooperation and teamwork.
- Ability to perform high-quality work efficiently and lead others.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

- Perform work within their classification for the majority of their hours.
- Lead, assign, and direct work according to employee classifications.
- Instruct others in proper methods and procedures.
- Review work, ensure quality, and meet deadlines.
- Resolve routine difficulties in job assignments.
- Maintain records related to job assignments.
- Ensure the satisfactory completion of work by assigned employees.
- Refer issues outside their authority to their Supervisor.
- Cannot recommend employment, transfer, promotion, or disciplinary actions.
Additional Duties
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors to support daily operations.
Physical Requirements And Environmental Conditions
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, walk, and work for extended periods.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Work with hands overhead.
- Correctable near and far vision.
- Hear at conversational levels, with or without hearing aids.
- Lift up to 25 pounds.
- Handle small parts and operate hand tools properly.
