Job summary

Perkins & Will is seeking a Senior Interior Designer in Austin to lead all phases of interior design with proficiency and creativity, aligning with project goals and design standards.

You will initiate and develop detailed design concepts, lead interior design efforts, and coordinate with clients, partners, and consultants to deliver cohesive design solutions. Strong communication and collaboration are essential to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interiors, architecture or related discipline is required.
• LEED GA within 6 months of hire.
• Professional interiors licensure and living design accreditation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BIM and interior design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of interior design from concept to construction.
• Develop design concepts and functional project requirements.
• Provide design leadership and client engagement.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients.
• Prepare client presentations, publications, and awards submissions.
• Review documents for accuracy and compliance with PCI/PD Manual.
• Lead design reviews and charettes with teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in interiors, architecture or related discipline

LEED GA within 6 months of hire

Professional interiors licensure

Professional accreditation in Living Design (LEED AP / WELL AP / SITES AP / CPHC / ILFI)
