Job summary

Ware Malcomb, a dynamic design firm, is looking for a Designer III in Atlanta. You will apply advanced design techniques across project scales, taking ownership of key design components from concept through construction and leading client presentations while preserving design intent.

You will support DD, CD, and CA, mentor junior team members, coordinate project efforts, and contribute to furniture selections, submittals, and code research to ensure design integrity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Architecture or Interior Design.
• NCIDQ certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead design presentations and maintain design intent.
• Ability to supervise Designers and coordinate teams.
• Knowledge of building codes and accessibility concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead design communications and client presentations.
• Develop design solutions meeting client needs on time and budget.
• Design components from concept through construction under supervision.
• Space planning and program document creation.
• Create design concepts and mood boards for client presentations.
• Create finish plans, specifications, and material selections.
• Provide AutoCAD/Revit support for DD and CDs.
• Coordinate consultant DD/CD efforts and lead 3D renderings.
