Job summary

ITAC Solutions, LLC seeks a Lead Integration Technician to run installations from start to finish and guide the technicians on their crew in the Birmingham area. You will translate designs into reliable setups and walk clients through handoff.

Expect a hands-on leadership role with opportunities for training and certification. Responsibilities include reviewing site designs, leading field teams, configuring Control4, and coordinating with builders and design staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on technology integration experience including direct client service.
• Control4 programming, configuration and troubleshooting proficiency.
• Proven ability to independently lead installations and direct other technicians.
• Working knowledge of AV, networking/WiFi, automation, video conferencing, surveillance/alarm, lighting/shade control, and streaming/smart home platforms.

Responsibilities

• Review designs and site conditions before work starts to catch issues early.
• Lead and coach assigned technicians, setting daily priorities and keeping jobs on schedule.
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot Control4 systems.
• Install and commission audio/video, networking and WiFi, surveillance, alarm, lighting, shade, and conferencing systems.
• Coordinate with builders, electricians, and other trades, and work with the design and sales team on field changes.
• Confirm client preferences early and deliver a hands-on tutorial at project completion.
• Document configurations, service notes, and project details so any teammate can support the system later.

Our client, a growing technology integration company, is looking for a Lead Integration Technician to run installations from start to finish and guide the technicians on their crew. You'll turn commercial and residential system designs into reliable, easy-to-use setups, then walk clients through everything at handoff. Compensation

$30–$40/hour, based on experience and qualifications

What You'll Need to be Considered

• 3+ years of hands-on technology integration experience, including direct client service
• Control4 programming, configuration, and troubleshooting proficiency
• Proven ability to independently lead installations and direct other technicians
• Working knowledge of AV, networking/WiFi, automation, video conferencing, surveillance/alarm, lighting/shade control, and streaming/smart home platforms
• Ability to read schematics, floor plans, and system designs, and to estimate time needed for installation tasks
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Experience in both commercial and residential installs (preferred)
• Certifications such as Control4, Lutron, Araknis, OvrC, or UniFi Access Control (preferred)
