John P. Insulation LLC in Beverly, MA is seeking experienced Insulation and Weatherization Installers and Crew Leads who take pride in delivering quality work. You will lead crews, perform air sealing and installations across residential and commercial buildings, and ensure safety standards.

The role requires hands-on insulation experience, knowledge of building science, and reliable transportation. A valid driver's license is preferred; ability to pass background checks and drug screening;

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing insulation and weatherization products.
• Strong understanding of building science basics and weatherization techniques.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces and on ladders.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality; valid driver’s license preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. and pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew in insulation and weatherization projects for residential and commercial buildings.
• Perform high-quality installations across basements, walls, attics, and roofs using Spray Foam, Fiberglass, Cellulose, Rock Wool, and Polyiso Foam Board.
• Conduct air sealing to eliminate drafts and establish thermal boundaries.
• Install proper ventilation, including roof vents.
• Adapt installation techniques to diverse environments, from stick-built to mobile homes.
• Oversee job-site quality control while adhering to safety and respiratory guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a crew in executing comprehensive insulation and weatherization projects for both residential and commercial buildings.
• Execute high-quality installations across all critical building zones—including basements and crawlspaces, walls and knee walls, and attics and roofs—utilizing Spray Foam, Fiberglass, Cellulose, Rock Wool, and Polyiso Foam Board.
• Perform precise air sealing in attics, basements, and crawlspaces to eliminate drafts and establish effective thermal boundaries.
• Install proper ventilation, including roof vents.
• Adapt installation techniques seamlessly across diverse environments, from standard stick-built construction to mobile homes.
• Oversee job site quality control, ensuring all work meets high standards while strictly adhering to our formalized safety and respiratory guidelines.

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven hands on experience in professional insulation installation.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of building science basics, and proper weatherization techniques.

Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work outside year-round, and maneuver comfortably in confined, cluttered spaces, as well as on tall ladders and rooftops.

Reliability: Valid driver’s license (preferred) and highly reliable transportation. Must be on time and prepared to work.

Requirements: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
