Job summary

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6 years of medical hardware device and/or diagnostics instrument experience.
  • 6+ years of technical knowledge of C#, C/C++, Linux, .NET, Angular, and distributed systems or robotics.
  • 3 years of firmware development (C/C++)
  • Proven track record of taking software projects from idea to final release using solid system design principles.
  • Familiar with SAFe or Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead software development and integration for complex digital pathology instrumentation and robotic systems.
  • Design and maintain scalable code using C#, C/C++, .NET and Linux for backend and UI layers.
  • Develop and execute unit, subsystem, and integration tests for quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment with architects, hardware engineers, and software leads.
  • Mentor engineers and share best practices across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Drive technical innovation by prototyping new software systems and reusable components.
