Stratus has recently partnered with Kestrel Engineering and we are hiring an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join us. This role focuses on front-end and detailed engineering, serving as the I&C lead for projects and coordinating with other engineering disciplines.

This position requires a BSc in engineering with 10+ years of I&C experience in the petrochemical/oil & gas industries, with knowledge of DCS/PLC/SCADA/HMI, SIS/SIF, and risk assessment processes.

Qualifikationen

• BSc in engineering with 10+ years in instrumentation and controls for petrochemical/oil & gas.
• Ability to lead quality management of discipline work processes and deliverables.
• Experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, including specification and integration design.
• Experience in field instruments and control valve selection, calculation, and detailed specs.
• Ability to participate in risk management sessions (e.g., HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, SIL).
• Knowledge of API, NFPA, ISA, PIP, IEC, IEEE standards addressed for instrumentation and controls design/engineering.
• Familiarity with Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), Safety Instrumented Functions (SIF), SIL, LOPA.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills; able to work with clients from proposal to execution.
• TWIC eligibility is required.

Aufgaben

• Prepare instrument and control system specifications, data sheets, and standard deliverables.
• Review instrument/control system vendor drawings; interface with suppliers, clients, and other disciplines.
• Develop P&IDs, equipment specifications, logic diagrams, and related instrumentation documents.
