Job summary

Stratus has partnered with Kestrel Engineering and is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to lead front-end and detailed engineering. You will coordinate with other disciplines, review vendor drawings, and develop instrumentation deliverables for petrochemical/oil & gas projects.

The role emphasizes leadership, risk assessment participation (HAZOP/LOPA/SIS), and direct client interaction from proposal through project execution.

Qualifications

BSc in engineering with minimum of 10 years’ experience in instrumentation and controls engineering for the petrochemical/oil & gas industries.

Responsibilities

Prepare instruments and control system specifications, instrument data sheets and other standard deliverables
Review instrument and control systems vendor drawings and data; interface with suppliers, clients, other disciplines
Develop P&IDs, equipment/material specifications, logic diagrams, cause & effect diagrams, controls narratives, and related instrumentation and controls documents
