Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking an Instrument and Controls Supervisor to lead maintenance repairs and project activities across plant systems. You will coordinate contractors and ensure work aligns with company policies and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership and a track record of supervising instrument and control staff. The candidate will manage work backlog, maintain knowledge of equipment, and contribute to continuous improvements in maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline is preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Instrument and Controls Apprentice or Technical program is a plus.
• Experience with Bailey, T3000, Ovation and Allen-Bradley control systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead Instrument and Controls Maintenance repairs and projects.
• Coordinate contractors in assigned areas as directed by Plant Management.
• Plan, prioritize, assign and review maintenance work to ensure quality and policy adherence.
