Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking an Instrument & Controls Supervisor to lead maintenance repairs and projects across plant systems. You will coordinate contractors, plan and prioritize work, and ensure safety and policy compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, solid experience in power plant controls, and the ability to manage resources and schedules effectively. This position supports a comprehensive safety program and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 4 yrs industrial experience leading/supervising Instrument & Controls
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
• Experience with Bailey, T3000, Ovation, Allen-Bradley controls a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead Instrument & Controls maintenance repairs and project activities.
• Coordinate contractors in assigned areas with supervision.
• Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, and review maintenance work.
• Ensure policy compliance and cost-effective resource use.
• Manage work backlog and ensure timely preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
