Job summary

NRG Energy seeks an Instrument and Controls Supervisor to lead maintenance and project activities within the plant. You will coordinate contractors in assigned areas and work with management to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires 4+ years in supervision of Instrument and Controls, a strong knowledge of plant systems, safety standards and a valid Texas driver’s license. On-site work with potential extended hours is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years leading Instrument and Controls group.
• Texas Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Establish methods for maintenance and plan resources.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and systems in assigned area.
• Direct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance scheduling.
• Lead emergency response efforts as needed.
• Coordinate vendor selection for parts and services.
• Ensure safe, compliant operations and housekeeping.
