Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc leads the development and manufacture of medical device components in Salt Lake City. The Lead Assembler, Instrument will guide an assembly team, coordinate weekly build activities, and support engineering with process improvements and documentation.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on equipment experience, and adherence to quality standards in a regulated environment. Onsite work with standard weekday hours and potential extension are noted.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting production or prototype equipment.
• Experience providing team leadership, training, or work coordination.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably medical devices.
• Experience supporting process improvement initiatives.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to assembly personnel to ensure safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Lead assembly team as product design and procedures evolve and coordinate daily work.
• Train, mentor, and support assemblers to ensure adherence to procedures.
• Assist engineers in scheduling, prioritizing tasks, and resolving issues.
• Coordinate assembly activities to complete weekly engineering builds and update processes.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing and prototype equipment.
• Complete build records and provide technical support to minimize downtime.
• Perform inspections to verify quality and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain clear and complete documentation and participate in planning meetings.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality policies; perform other duties as assigned.
