Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in Salt Lake City is seeking an experienced Lead Instrument Assembler for a 12-month contract role.

The position involves leading the fabrication, assembly, testing, and documentation of medical device products in a fast-paced lab, with the first shift and 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have at least five years in manufacturing, proven leadership, and strong problem-solving abilities, along with experience in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting production or prototype equipment.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to assembly personnel while promoting safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate weekly engineering builds and ensure manufacturing processes are followed and updated.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment; document build records.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and regulatory standards; maintain clean, organized workspace.
• Report build status, risks, and resource needs in planning meetings.
