Job summary

Massachusetts Financial Services Company (MFS) is seeking a lead portfolio management representative to run assigned products for institutional and affluent clients. You will partner with distribution to deliver investment services and contribute to alpha generation, stepping in for portfolio managers when needed.

You will articulate portfolio strategy, manage client guidelines, oversee cash and clone portfolios, and develop materials that explain investment philosophy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years in investment management.
• Experience with institutional clients, consultants and portfolio management preferred.
• Broad knowledge of US equity markets and macro trends.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in responding to business and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio management for assigned products and support institutional clients.
• Articulate investment strategy to consultants, clients and prospects.
• Coordinate with distribution on client service and new accounts and portfolio cash management.
• Develop materials to validate investment style and monitor performance metrics.
• Provide regular investment updates and risk management insights.
• Contribute to ESG engagement and integrated client communications.
