Job summary

ShadeWorks, a family-owned business in Gallatin, TN, is seeking a lead installer with at least 5 years of experience in construction or related fields. The ideal candidate will work hands-on alongside the installation crew, managing a small team and performing various installation tasks.

Qualifications

• Installing retractable screens and louvered pergolas.
• Managing an installation team of 1–3 people.
• Driving to/from job sites in a company vehicle.

For 20 years, ShadeWorks, a family-owned and operated business, has provided the greater Nashville area with shade solutions for homes and businesses. We are a small, close group of employees and are looking for 1 lead installer that has experience with tools, meshes well with our work dynamic, and has experience leading a crew. This is a hands‑on position, meaning you will be working alongside and leading the installation crew.

Primary Duties

• Installing retractable screens
• Installing louvered pergolas
• Installing interior blinds/screens/shutters
• Managing an installation team of 1–3 people
• General labor (cleaning & organizing)
• Driving to/from job sites in a company vehicle
• Climbing ladders
• Lifting products over 50 lbs. regularly

Experience Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience in any of the following:

• Construction
• Mechanic
• Builder
• Installer
• Handyman

Requirements

• Driver’s License
• Must be comfortable on a ladder
• Must be proficient with a selection of hand and power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure

Starting pay will be determined based upon experience and or performance in the role. After a 1–3 month probationary period, you will be eligible for a raise, along with other benefits, such as PTO.
