Job summary

The role requires mechanical ability and experience with simple electrical, complex mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components and assemblies, plus layout inspections for first piece, in-process, and final checks.

Qualifications

• Requires five years’ experience as an inspector.
• Must pass eye tests and drug/alcohol testing.
• Strong ability to read complex blueprints and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspects complex parts and assemblies per blueprints and specs.
• Documents inspection results and makes decisions on problems.
• Calibrates gauges and equipment; handles set ups for others as needed.
• Moves parts and materials to/from the work area; collaborates with QA, Eng, and Ops.
