Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
• Five years of experience in inspections, engineering or construction management with lead or supervisory experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.
• Must possess and maintain, or obtain within 1 year of employment, Georgia Soil & Erosion Level 1B Certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff; develops and oversees employee work schedules; reviews timesheets; counsels or disciplines as appropriate; assists with performance appraisals.
• Organizes, prioritizes, and assigns work; ensures subordinates have resources; monitors progress; provides reports to management;
• Processes documentation and records related to department operations and payroll; maintains records.
• Schedules and records inspector training; maintains certification records and licenses.
• Ensures maintenance and availability of department vehicles.
