Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Inspector to oversee parenteral product inspection, lead inspection activities, and ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards.

The role involves directing the inspection team, maintaining cleanliness and equipment, and supporting training and documentation practices. You will work with Finishing and cross‑functional teams, handle training obligations, and participate in quality and safety improvements while supporting audits as

Qualifications

• Knowledge of QA principles and procedures in pharma/biopharma/biotech manufacturing.
• Thorough understanding of cGMP, FDA guidelines, and multinational regulatory standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and support to the inspection team to ensure cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of the operational areas and equipment.
• Verify and classify rejects; provide feedback to inspectors as needed.
• Perform equipment setup and operation.
• Document according to Good Documentation Practices and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in completion of batch record materials.
• Navigate Master Control system and related processes.
• Maintain data trending reports from visual inspection data.
• Train inspection employees with support from Finishing Trainer.
• Communicate professionally with Finishing and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in Continuous Quality and Safety Improvements.
• Support agency, customer, and vendor audits as needed.
