Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to execute AQL inspections after packaging steps and to conduct monthly retention checks.

You will review documents and ensure GMP compliance, accuracy, and traceability in a fast-paced biopharma manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include inspecting incoming components and finished goods, prioritizing inspections with manufacturing, maintaining procedures, and contributing to deviation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Passing of post-offer vision screening.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform the incoming component and finishing operation AQL inspections (visual inspection, product labeling and/or packaging).
• Communicate effectively with manufacturing to prioritize AQL inspections.
• Uphold procedures and processes for AQL.
• Perform monthly logbook reviews.
• Perform routine current Good Manufacturing Practice reviews on documentation (inventory cards, logbooks etc.).
• Sample finished product for retention and perform monthly retention inspection.
• Provide input into supplier quality investigation reports, corrective actions/preventative actions, customer complaints, and deviation investigations from the visual inspection aspect.
