Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in Missouri is seeking a Lead Inpatient Nurse (RN) to coordinate patient care across units, supervise staff, and ensure safety, quality, and evidence-based practice. You will assess, plan, and implement care while directing co-workers and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete shift assignments and coordinate with House Supervisor for staffing changes.
• Assign nursing students to caregivers for upcoming shifts.
• Collaborate with care management for throughput and plan of care for each patient.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers as appropriate.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care with supervision of licensed personnel.
• Provide patient and family teaching to support outcomes.
• Administer medications and monitor responses.
• Participate in staff training and quality improvement activities.
