Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in Missouri seeks an RN Inpatient to provide comprehensive patient care under leadership supervision. The nurse analyzes needs, plans and evaluates care, and directs co-workers in plan implementation. A focus on exceptional service to patients and families is expected.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS as appropriate for inpatient settings, with potential travel between system facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing — required.
• BSN — preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessment/reassessment of patient and documents in medical record.
• Analyzes information to determine patient needs and expected outcomes.
• Develops and implements plan of care based on assessment and diagnosis.
• Oversees delegation of the plan to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Ensures discharge planning is part of the plan of care as appropriate.
• Engages in patient/family/staff teaching to achieve outcomes.
• Maintains knowledge of standards affecting operation of patient population served.
• Contributes to professional development of peers and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
