Job summary

City of Hope is seeking an Inpatient Supervisor for stem cell services to lead daily inpatient operations, patient flow, and staffing across oncology units. The role supports cellular therapy, hematology, oncology, and medical-surgical patients with a focus on safety and high-quality care.

You will supervise nursing and support staff, participate in recruitment, scheduling, performance feedback, and ensure regulatory readiness while maintaining an inclusive, high-reliability culture.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressive hospital IP nursing experience, Oncology focus.
• Minimum one year in a charge nurse, lead, supervisory, or formal leadership role.
• BSN degree is required.
• Active RN license in Arizona (state or multi-state with AZ privileges).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inpatient operations across assigned units and patient flow.
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance feedback for nursing and support staff.
• Promote regulatory readiness, infection prevention, and safe medication practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacy, case management, and other disciplines to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide leadership coverage and respond to urgent clinical or operational issues.
