Job summary

Linked, LLC is seeking a Tooling Supervisor for our production shop. The role focuses on production tooling, not sheet metal or prototype, and leads the tooling team of 11 (growing to 13‑14 + 2 night shift).

You will supervise daily activities, review blueprints, coordinate with Production and Engineering, and drive improvements while maintaining safety and records. Requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience and hands‑on tooling knowledge; automotive, aerospace, and defense sectors experience

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in tooling.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and tooling drawings.
Hands-on knowledge of tooling repair, modification, maintenance, and assembly.
Experience with injection molds, dies, fixtures, or production tooling preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily activities of the tooling team and coordinate priorities.
Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, and engineering changes.
Provide hands-on support with tooling repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Work with Production and Engineering to resolve tooling and manufacturing issues.
Identify opportunities to improve tooling performance, quality, reliability, and efficiency.
Train, coach, and guide tooling employees and promote safe work practices.
