Job summary

Qualifications

• Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy required or obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
• Minimum of one (1) year of pharmacy practice experience in a similar setting.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited academic program

Responsibilities

• Monitoring, screening and verification of all drug-related orders for proper dosage, route, dosage form, and administration schedule.
• Counsel patients regarding the safe and proper use of their medications.
• Resolve drug therapy problems and supervise pharmacy personnel as needed
